For your child, it’s a relaxing and comfortable way to get through a dental procedure. Nitrous Oxide inhalation can reduce anxiety and hyperactive gag reflex, and raise the pain-reaction threshold. It may produce sensations of euphoria, resulting in an increase of tolerance for longer appointments. Recovery from nitrous oxide is safe and fast because it is quickly eliminated from the body.
