A healthy mouth starts with routine cleanings every 3 to 6 months for your child. During appointments, we’ll show your child how to floss, brush and develop impeccable hygiene habits they will carry into adulthood.

We use the tell, show, do technique with every age group to help educate your child and to make them feel comfortable during their appointment. We use soft language to describe our  tools and give extra-oral demonstrations before use. We use an assortment of instruments that remove deposits such as plaque, calculus/tartar, and stain from teeth. During our cleanings, your child’s hygienist will talk about healthy habits, such as brushing, flossing and smart snacking. Routine cleanings and check-ups give our doctor  the ability to manage cavities and help improve your child’s overall health.
